Lunch & Learn: Communication is Key! Enhancing Safety Through Language Access in Domestic Violence Cases

When victims and survivors are unable to be fully heard and understood, their needs and the services to address those needs can be severely compromised. This workshop addresses the crucial issue of language barriers in domestic violence cases and focuses on enhancing the safety of victims, law enforcement officers, and the community. Participants will explore and develop practical strategies to enhance language accessibility in domestic violence cases, promoting safety and ensuring equitable justice for all affected parties.
