Lunch & Learn: An Interfaith Panel on Spirituality and Domestic Violence
March 28 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
FreeDescription: Many survivors of domestic violence turn to their faith leaders and communities to find support. A survivor’s spirituality and values can provide comfort and guidance on their path towards healing. Yet, many helping professionals may not fully understand every spiritual outlook or religion. Join us for this interfaith panel to learn what faith traditions and holy writings teach about intimate partner violence. The panelists will share how they are doing their part to help survivors find safety and spiritual peace. Panelists will also provide insight on the religious considerations professionals may need when working with a survivor of various faiths.
