Participants will gain a nuanced understanding of the dynamics involved in sex trafficking, the risk factors and the multifaceted impact trafficking has on survivors’ mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Learn Trauma-Informed and Survivor-Centered Practices
Participants will learn practical and evidence-based approaches that emphasize safety, empowerment, and autonomy. Discover how to build trust and rapport with survivors through trauma-informed care that honors each individual’s lived experience while fostering resilience and respecting survivors’ autonomy.
Integrate Evidence-Based Therapeutic Interventions
Participants will explore effective therapeutic modalities and interventions that address the complex needs of trafficking survivors, including strategies for stabilization, recovery, and long-term healing.
