Description:
This month’s Lunch & Learn presentation will explore the
intersection of domestic violence and HIV. Attendees will learn
about the stages and transmission of HIV/AIDS. Presenters will
discuss antiretroviral therapy and how DV-related trauma impacts
people living with HIV/AIDS. Additionally, we’ll examine HIV
statistics at the national, state, and local levels. Presenters will
provide strategies for effectively working with survivors living with
HIV to enhance attendees’ skills and knowledge.
