SUMMARY:Am I Crazy? Understanding Gaslighting and Its Impact on Survivors
DESCRIPTION:  \nThis is a virtual event: Click HERE to register. \nDescription: \n\n\n\nWe hear the term gaslighting used increasingly these days\, but do we really understand the effect of this type of emotional abuse? This workshop delves into the insidious world of gaslighting and its influence on survivors\, particularly those who have endured Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). Clinicians\, lawyers\, advocates\, and other professionals will walk away with the knowledge and tools they need to understand and support those who have experienced this type of abuse. The presenter will empower participants to become effective allies in supporting survivors’ journey to healing and reclaiming their identities. \nSpeaker: \n\n\n\nWhitney Ball\, LMSW Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support \nWhitney Ball is a licensed Women’s and Children’s Therapist at Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support\, focusing on women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
