SUMMARY:Leadership Excellence in Crisis Response: Advanced Training for Domestic & Sexual Violence Hotline Support
DESCRIPTION:VIRTUAL ONLY\nDescription: \nJoin us for an exclusive training designed to equip management teams at domestic and sexual violence agencies with dos and don’ts of trauma-informed hotline support. This training emphasizes a holistic approach to handling crisis calls\, ensuring comprehensive support for callers. Participants will gain expertise in crisis de-escalation\, safety planning\, and the implementation of text line services. By the end of the training\, attendees will be prepared to lead their teams with confidence\, enhancing the overall effectiveness of their hotline services.  \nSpeaker(s): \n \nJordyn Lawson\, LPC-S is Chief Residential Officer at Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support and is a is a licensed clinician and licensed professional counselor supervisor. Ms. Lawson supervises both the emergency shelter and Annie’s House transitional living program. Services within these two locations include a 24-hour Hotline/Text line\, onsite school for K-7th\, onsite daycare and children’s services\, advocacy services\,  counseling services\, and Occupational Therapy services. Previously\, Ms. Lawson was the assistant clinical director at Genesis and provided individual and group therapy to women and children for over 8 years. She has worked in the field of domestic violence and trauma recovery for over 16 years. \nREGISTER HERE
