SUMMARY:ICCR Webinar: Adult Forensic Interviewing
DESCRIPTION:  \nDescription: The Forensic Center of Excellence’s Adult Forensic Interview program is dedicated to conducting investigative\, trauma-informed interviews of adult victims 17 and older. An Adult Forensic Interview is a collaborative effort between the interviewer and law enforcement and allows the victim to have an opportunity to engage in a conversation about their experience in a safe space. The Forensic Center conducts interviews for victims of sexual assault\, human trafficking\, domestic violence\, and many other victimizations. The interviews are utilized by law enforcement and the prosecution in building and strengthening criminal cases against suspects of these crimes. In 2023\, UTMB completed an evaluation of The Forensic Center’s Adult Forensic Interviewing program and this webinar will discuss their findings. \nSpeaker(s): Julie Germann & Danni Hernandez \nOrganization: Forensic Center of Excellence \nRegister Here
